The forward line will look a lot different for many people in 2020, after SuperCoach announced some dual-position player (DPP) changes for next season.

Five of this season's top scorers won't be eligible in the front six next year, as Patrick Dangerfield, Josh Dunkley, Travis Boak and Tim Kelly all become full-time midfielders, while Rowan Marshall will be a sole ruckman.

However, it's not all bad news, with Richmond star Dustin Martin given mid/fwd eligibility, as well as GWS' Lachie Whitfield.

The pair, along with Fremantle's Michael Walters who also remains a mid/fwd DPP, were the three highest-scoring players of 2019 who will be selectable in the forward line next season.

In total, 119 players have DPP status for 2020.
