Melbourne will be without veteran Jordan Lewis for their round one clash with Port Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.

Lewis will miss with a hamstring injury, which he sustained during the last training session of the week, according to Herald Sun journalist Jay Clark.

Melbourne have handed Tom Sparrow a debut in place of Lewis, after the South Australian was taken with the 27th pick of the 2018 National Draft.
