Young Power forward Todd Marshall is set to miss up to six weeks after injuring his thumb in Saturday night's loss against St Kilda.
Marshall underwent surgery on Sunday and now faces a lengthy spell.
Marshall will be faced with a battle to be back in time for finals, with the final nine games expected to be condensed into seven or eight weeks.

Justin Westhoff was dropped for last week's clash before being a late inclusion for Trent McKenzie (back spasms).
Westhoff looks set for another reprieve now that Marshall will be sidelined.
Marshall had played a key role in the Power's stellar start to the season, playing all eight games so far and forming a terrific duo with Coleman medal contender Charlie Dixon.
The youngster has bagged nine goals in 2020.
