Despite being lobbied with a large deal to jump ship to the Power, gun Adelaide midfielder Anne Hatchard is set to continue her career as a Crow for another two seasons.

The tattooed 24-year-old's recommitment to Matthew Clarke's side comes less than a week after claiming her first best and fairest gong and under a month after collecting both her second premiership medallion and best on ground honours.

As first reported by womens.afl, the triple All-Australian was pursued hard by Port Adelaide ahead of the expansion franchise's debut campaign, but with her career at West Lakes continuing to blossom the prospects of a rich deal were turned down.

Confirming the news that will have Crows raptures, Adelaide's GM of AFLW operations Phil Harper claimed the 87th selection from the 2016 draft would remain on the club's books until the end of season eight.

"Anne had signed a two-year deal last year and we're working with her manager to extend beyond that," Harper delineated.

While the decorated superstar will remain in tri-colours, Adelaide faces a far greater fight on their hands to retain their linchpin, Erin Phillips.

Given Port Adelaide's wide-open salary cap and Phillips' family lineage, the lure of a long-awaited return to Albeton could well be too strong to refuse.

Phillips has played an integral role in turning the Crows into the competition's powerhouse, with the 36-year-old claiming a trifecta of premiership wins and two league best and fairest across his six seasons.

The former Olympian is yet to publically announce whether she will make the move up Tapleys Hill Road or not, but with radio silence still emanating out of her camp, the Power will be growing confident of securing their marquee star.
