Injured Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott is all for welcoming rival stars from around the competition as the club pursues Brisbane champion Lachie Neale.
The Lions midfielder toured the Pies' facilities last week ahead of a mooted move to Victoria.
Elliott said Neale's Friday visit was during a day off at the club, but admitted it created a "bit of chatter" among the playing group.

“We run the motto of ‘we want to get better', so if that's looking at players that can make us better in any regard then obviously we want to look at those players,” Elliott said on SEN.
“That's not my role to talk on in terms of list management or how we want to look at next year by adding to the list.
“But we want to make our list better, and he's a phenomenal player.”
The Pies are also in the market for GWS duo Jake Stringer and Jesse Hogan, as well as Gold Coast's Jake Rogers.
Elliott is currently rehabbing an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture he sustained in Scott Pendlebury's record-breaking game against West Coast Eagles.
Elliott, who is contracted for next year and is expected to return in the back half of 2027, has admitted there have been differences between his knee rehabilitation and previous injuries.
“I'm nine weeks post-op tomorrow, and it's been a bit of a journey so far,” he explained.
“It's a frustrating rehab. It's different to any other rehab I've done. You have to give it a little bit of respect in terms of loading it and progressing. You can't just rush it; you can't rush into more strength or anything. It hasn't been smooth, but I'm on the right track."
Elliott also endorsed Scott Pendlebury as a future coach, offering an insight into his leadership.
“He could, but that is a hypothetical,” Elliott said when asked whether Pendlebury could coach next year.
“He's such a good on-field leader. He sees the game so well; the way he plays is how he coaches as well.
“Everything slows down for him, so out there he's very good at just directing, talking to players.
"He would be a great coach and because he's been in the system for so long, he's seen different coaches, he's seen Mick (Malthouse), he's seen (Nathan Buckley), he's seen (Craig McRae) so he's got all of that experience behind him as well so I think he will make a phenomenal coach one day but that's a very good hypothetical.”
Elliott also said it was a “no-brainer” that the Pies legend could continue playing if he so chose.
