If we could bring back 5 player from...Colligwood

This week, we’re bringing back five players from Hawthorn's past as a gift to their footy-starved fans.

We’re not necessarily picking the five best players of years past, but rather those stars still in the memory of Hawks fans and most likely to deliver some much needed excitement. Or for a variety of other reasons, like players with unfinished business, that fill team needs or would offer good marketing revenue during these tough times.

3. Dermott Brereton

We're taking Derm at the peak of his powers, but only if someone can get in his ear and remind him the rules aren't quite the same as they were when he was throwing his weight around on the field.

If he can stay out of trouble, there'd be no question that Derm would add plenty of goals and even more fireworks to the Hawks forward line. The one remaining question: would he or wouldn't he bring back the mullet?
