Connor MacDonald has added three years to his current deal, extending his time at Hawthorn until the end of 2029.
MacDonald was locked away for next year, but the club has shown its faith in his development and position in the senior side.
The 22-year-old joined the club in 2021 through Pick 26, and has played 90 games, kicking 71 goals as a crafty small forward.
MacDonald has rarely missed a game since his debut, playing at least 20 games a year in the past four seasons.
"Connor's consistency in his first four seasons at AFL level has been impressive to watch. At the age of 22, he's on the cusp of playing his 100th game," Hawthorn National Recruiting & List Manager Mark McKenzie said.
"With his footy IQ, running capacity and forward pressure, he's become a key contributor in our best 23 each week, working tirelessly to put his teammates in scoring positions, or hitting the scoreboard himself regularly.
"With his willingness to continue learning and developing, as I'm sure Hawks fans will agree, we are confident the best of Connor is yet to come."
MacDonald joins the likes of JJai Newcombe (2032), Josh Battle (2030), Dylan Moore (2030), Blake Hardwick (2029), Conor Nash (2029), Josh Ward (2029), Lloyd Meek (2029) and Nick Watson (2029) on long-term deals.
