Greater Western Sydney have re-signed five players this off season as Ryan Griffen, Tim Mohr and Lachie Tiziani depart the club.

Dylan Buckley, Jack Buckley, Dawson Simpson, Jake Stein and Lachie Keeffe have all re-signed for next season.

Playing nine games this season, Simpson had his best season at the Giants as he was the team's number one ruckman before suffering a season ending ankle injury.

Keeffe played eight games for the year as the versatile defender played in the club'd semi final, while Dylan Buckley only managed two games this year.

Rookie Jack Buckley and Jake Stein are yet to make their debuts for the club but have been impressive in the NEAFL this season with Stein being awarded the NEAFL Development Award at the Giants best and fairest night.

Tim Mohr and Lachie Tiziani have not been offered new contracts at the club while Ryan Griffen announced his retirement after the clubs finals loss against Collingwood.

“We thank Lachie and Tim for their contribution to the GIANTS during their time with us,” GWS' List Manager Jason McCartney told the club's website.

“Tim has been with us from the start and was an important player during our early years as he notched up 48 AFL games, which is no small feat.

“Lachie’s a great young Academy kid who showed some positive progression earlier in the year before unfortunately suffering an ACL injury.

“We wish them both well in their future endeavors and once again congratulate Ryan Griffen on an outstanding AFL career.”
