Multiple players hit the scoreboard heavily in the VFL while a host of Mid-Season draftees made their marks at their new clubs.

Here's a recap of the VFL's weekend results and the standout performers from each game...

GWS (150) def. Northern Bullants (43)

Hauls of goals from Nathan Wardius (five), Max Gruzewski (four) and Hugo Birks (four) set up a monster 107-point victory over the Northern Bullants.

Former Swan Marc Sheather was dominant for the Giants, collecting 23 disposals, 11 tackles and 10 clearances.

Harry Rowston was busy with two goals and 21 possessions, while Josaia Delana also put through a pair of majors.

Jean-Luc Velissaris was the Bullants' best, recording 37 touches, 11 marks and six clearances.

Liam Coghlan and Maison Goodman found plenty of the ball as John Jorgensen was lively in front of goal, slotting two goals.

Richmond (64) def. Sydney (59)

A pair of knee injuries to Richmond pair Judson Clarke and Campbell Gray marred the Tigers' narrow win over the Swans.

Clarke suffered a third ACL injury while Gray sustained a "posterolateral knee injury" that won't require surgery.

Jasper Alger kicked three goals for Richmond, and on the other end, Jacob Blight was a rock in defence, registering 24 touches and 12 marks.

James Trezise was also impressive.

Sydney's Oliver Florent put himself into senior recall consideration after his 28-possession performance, along with seven clearances and four tackles.

Ben Paton reached the 30-disposal mark as draftee Ned Bowman kicked two goals to keep the Swans in touch.

Robbie Fox returned from injury in limited minutes from his calf issue.

Brisbane (80) def. by Williamstown Seagulls (136)

Another Brodie McLaughlin masterclass saw the Seagulls down the Lions convincingly, with the forward slotting five goals from 16 touches.

Blake Coleman joined McLaughlin with five of his own.

Williamstown ruckman Tom Downie was impressive with 41 hit-outs, as well as 18 possessions and eight clearances.

Harry Minton-Connell gathered 28 touches and 11 marks.

Brandon Ryan was arguably Brisbane's best, slotting three goals from 12 touches.

James Tunstill was pivotal through the midfield, amassing 21 possessions, seven marks and a goal.

Werribee Tigers (44) def. by North Melbourne (85)

Kangaroos Mid-Season draftee Zac Banch kicked three goals in the victory over Werribee.

Will Phillips was busy for the Kangaroos, recording a massive 21 tackles, along with 22 disposals and five clearances.

Bailey Scott was equally as crucial in the win with 26 possessions and five marks.

Callum Coleman-Jones and Taylor Goad combined impressively through the ruck role, with both also pushing forward.

As for the Tigers, Jack Riding and Dom Brew combined for a huge game, but unfortunately, to no avail.

The pair amassed 63 touches, 21 clearances and 11 tackles.

Jay Dahlhaus kicked two goals to keep the scoreboard ticking over as ruckman Sam Conway produced a monster effort in the ruck to combat the Kangaroos' tall duo.

Coburg Lions (67) def. by Footscray Bulldogs (111)

Will Lewis and Caleb Poulter both slotted four goals for Footscray, helping the club put together a strong victory over Coburg.

Jedd Busslinger (26 touches and 10 marks) and Cooper Hynes (31 possessions, nine clearances and four marks) were notable performers, as was Cooper Craig-Peters with 11 clearances.

Ex-Pie Jack Bytel's form continues to be at a high level, recording 34 touches, 11 clearances and two goals.

Flynn Gentile was a significant contributor for the Lions, as was ruckman Joe Furphy.

Box Hill Hawks (135) def. Frankston Dolphins (72)

Four goals from William McCabe set up a promising victory for the Hawks against Frankston.

Calsher Dear and Jasper Scaife also hit the scoreboard with three majors, as veteran Luke Breust kicked two.

Ruckman Ned Reeves impressed, recording 45 hit-outs, eight clearances, 17 disposals and five marks.

Cam Mackenzie put his hand up for senior selection, recording 28 touches, five marks and three clearances. Henry Hustwaite was equally as good, putting together 13 clearances and 32 possessions.

Noah Gown was a solo performer for the Dolphins, kicking seven goals in the heavy defeat.

Sebastian Quirk (21 touches, eight marks and seven tackles) and Jackson Voss 29 disposals and eight marks) were part of Frankston's best.

Collingwood (48) def. by Casey Demons (57)

A scrappy affair between Collingwood and Casey resulted in a measly 14 goals for the match.

Former Saint Riley Bonner was instrumental in the narrow win, collecting 35 touches, nine marks and five clearances.

Ex-Cat Mitch Hardie was equally as good, gathering 31 possessions, six clearances and five marks.

VFL-listed Demon Riley Baldi recorded 14 tackles while ruckman Tom Campbell gave the midfielders first use with 34 hit-outs, to go with his own six clearances and 14 disposals.

Collingwood youngster set for months on sidelines

Collingwood's Harry DeMattia continues his strong form with another outstanding performance in the midfield, registering 28 touches, five clearances and five tackles.

Tom Mitchell's road to the senior side is on track after producing a 26-possession, five-clearance outing.

Mason Cox slotted two majors playing in the ruck and as a forward.

Geelong (72) def. Gold Coast (69)

Geelong's Jhye Clark and George Stevens were huge in the three-point victory over Gold Coast, combining for 63 touches, 15 tackles and 12 clearances.

Mitch Knevitt joined in on the act through the midfield, while veterans Jed Bews (13 touches and three tackles) and Cam Guthrie (four disposals and one tackle) were quiet.

Oliver Wiltshire's two goals and 23 possessions also proved instrumental.

Suns ruckman Ned Moyle did everything in his power to alter the result, recording a whopping 63 hit-outs, 11 clearances and 21 disposals.

Alex Davies, Ben Jepson and Malcolm Rosas benefited from Moyle's stoppage dominance.

Jy Farrar kicked five goals to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

Essendon (54) def. by Carlton (72)

Carlton's Ben Camporeale put together a best-on-ground performance in the victory over Essendon, recording 30 touches, 12 clearances and a goal.

Ruckman Marc Pittonet joined in, amassing 17 disposals, 40 hit-outs and eight clearances, while a pair of goals from Francis Evans and Harry Lemmey kept the Bombers at bay.

Former Hawk Ethan Phillips was solid in defence, taking 10 marks from 20 possessions.

Essendon on-baller Elijah Tsatas collected 28 touches and four clearances alongside ex-Crow Jackson Hately, who recorded nine clearances with his 24 disposals.

Mid-Season draftees Archie May (one goal, 13 possessions and four marks), Oskar Smartt (one goal, 16 touches and four marks) and Liam McMahon (three goals) impressed.
