Geelong has announced the re-signings of defender Jed Bews, forward Oli Wiltshire and ruck Joe Pike to new deals, locking them away for the 2026 season.

Bews joined the club as a father-son selection, taken with Pick 86 in the 2011 National Draft. He has played 175 games since debuting in 2014, including the 2022 premiership triumph over Sydney.

However, through injury and form, the 31-year-old hasn't been seen often in Chris Scott's side since the premiership victory, playing 24 games in the past three seasons. But his re-signing ensures the club's defensive stocks are equipped for next year.

Wiltshire entered Kardinia Park via the 2023 draft intake, selected with Pick 61. He failed to make a meaningful impact in his maiden season as injury curtailed his availability.

The 23-year-old debuted in Round 7 against Carlton in 2025, and backed it up the following week against Collingwood before returning to the VFL.

Wiltshire averaged 13.6 disposals across his 13 VFL games this year, as well as regularly hitting the scoreboard with 18 goals for the season.

As for Pike, Geelong is excited by the ruckman's development as they look to guide him towards AFL football.

The big man signed as a rookie in the 2024 draft after impressing through the club's reserves side.

Pike played 17 VFL games in 2025, averaging 22 hitouts, 3.6 tackles and 10 disposals.

"Jed has been a valuable member of our football program for more than a decade, and we're pleased to retain his experience on our list for 2026," Geelong EGM of Football Andrew Mackie

"Oli and Joe are taking good steps in their development as AFL-listed footballers, and we're looking forward to seeing them continue to learn and develop in our program in 2026."

Geelong recently announced the delistings of Ted Clohesy, George Stevens and Keighton Matofai-Forbes, although the latter pair are expected to be relisted as rookies.

Cam Guthrie and Xavier Ivisic were also delisted, while Mitch Duncan retired following the 2025 season, and has since joined West Coast as an assistant coach.

Patrick Retschko was initially delisted by the Cats, but interest from Richmond saw a trade between the two clubs on trade deadline day.
