As a 22-year-old, I've spent 15 years supporting North Melbourne. I've seen some great players don the blue and white stripes since starting my spectating journey as a seven-year-old.

In that time, there's been some years where the Roos were competitive, and some years where we we were not so competitive!

But where would I rank these players if I had to limit them down to only 10? Who has stood out as the club's best while at the same time embracing the Shinboner spirit?

Here's what I decided based on when I witnessed them play, not how they performed throughout their career.

1Todd Goldstein

Eagles deny talking to Goldstein, but confirm interest in two other ruckmen

At number one has to be one of the greatest ruckmen I've ever seen play the game. The former All-Australian still holds the record for most hit-outs in a game at 80 and used the ball better than most of our midfielders during his prime years. Reliability and consistency go a long way for a club like North Melbourne and without Goldstein, fans would have faced many more seasons of hopelessness.
