West Coast draftee Willie Rioli could be sidelined for as long as 12 weeks after suffering a hamstring strain at training during the week.

The talented forward is expected to be forced to undergo surgery to heal the injury.

“Our medical group has gathered all of the information and will meet on Monday to determine what course of action we’ll take,” Vozzo said.

“It’s a significant injury, but it’s not a year out or anything like that. He will go through an extensive rehabilitiation period.”

“It’s a pity because he’s been really good."

Rioli was selected with pick No.52 in the 2016 National Draft and is the cousin of Hawk Cyril Rioli and Tiger Daniel Rioli.
