Collingwood youngsters Beau McCreery and Reef McInnes have both put pen to paper on two-year extensions at the AIA Centre, the club has confirmed, with the pair set to remain at the Pies until the end of 2024.

McCreery has begun to cement a spot in the Pies' forward line since his debut early last season, playing 15 games and kicking 14 goals - including a three-goal haul against Port Adelaide in Round 10 last year.

Fresh off an impressive debut against the Cats, McInnes has also been rewarded by the Magpies as he looks to remain in the club's best 22 throughout 2022.

McInnes, who was part of Collingwood's NGA, racked up 14 disposals in his first senior outing.

GM of Football Graham Wright said he was delighted that the pair had re-signed with the black and white.

"We are pleased to reward both Beau and Reef with another two years," Wright told collingwoodfc.com.au.

"Beau has shown great promise at AFL level in his first 18 months at the club. His strength and playing maturity are beyond his years.

"Reef played his first game at AFL level last weekend and acquitted himself well. He's a good size and has great speed and power.

"Unfortunately, Reef's 2021 was frustrated by injury and his 2020 NAB Cup year was shut down due to COVID. With two years of setbacks, we're wrapped with his development in such a short period of time."

The good news comes after the Magpies also confirmed a trio of re-signings yesterday, with youngsters Charlie Dean, Jack Ginnivan and Aiden Begg reinforcing their commitment to the club.
