Rumours surrounding Dustin Martin's future have been swirling all season long.
North Melbourne's huge play to lure the Richmond star to Punt Road is well known, while Essendon and St Kilda have also been linked to a move for the 26-year-old at different times this season.
Now, it appears a new player, outside of Victoria may have emerged for Dusty's signature.
SEN's Tim Watson, revealed this morning he is hearing that one of the Sydney clubs may beat everyone to Martin's signature.
โI keep hearing that there is an attraction that he has towards a side north of the border,โ Watson said.
โThere is someone up there that might suit him and his personality.
"Money is always the attraction. Both those Sydney teams are on the cusp of success.โ
While a lot has been spoken and written about the Saints, Roos and Bombers, Sydney and GWS are yet to come into the conversation in a big way in regards to Martin's signature, but Watson said that could bode well for the potential suitor.
"The team you don't hear about during these discussions is the one you want to fear," he said.
Both the Swans and the Giants' salary caps are bursting at the moment, but with the possible retirements of Kieren Jack and Jarrad McVeigh, plus the possible departure of the under performing Kurt Tippet, Sydney could be well placed to pounce.
