Brisbane dual premiership player Brandon Starcevich has been traded to West Coast, with Fremantle helping facilitate the move.
The details of the trade are as follows; West Coast receive Brandon Starcevich and Picks 12, 33 and 52, Brisbane acquire Picks 16, 22, 44 and 50, while Fremantle collect Picks 19, 23 and 46.
Brisbane have traded out Brandon Starcevich, Pick 19, 46 and 52, West Coast have moved Pick 16, 22 and 23 and Fremantle part ways with Pick 12, 33, 44 and 50.
The Dockers are expected to move Pick 23 to Melbourne in a trade for Demons defender Judd McVee, which AFL Media's Cal Twomey has reported will be ticked off by the league later on Wednesday.
West Coast get their wish of a trade for Starcevich, rather than collecting him for nothing via restricted free agency, preventing the AFL from diluting their expected band one compensation for departing captain Oscar Allen, who will join the Lions for 2026 and beyond.
Brisbane, meanwhile, also benefit by gaining valuable points in the National Draft via an earlier selection to help them bid for star Academy prospect Dan Annable, who is projected to go inside the top 10 in Zero Hanger's mock draft.
Three-club trade approved, including one player and multiple picks in the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft.

Starcevich arrives in Perth as a quality defensive option that has experience contributing to a winning brand of football, something the Eagles sorely lacked in 2025. He offers a lethal kick from defensive 50 that will likely bolster West Coast's transition footy, with a kicking efficiency above 75 per cent for his entire career.
“I'm really excited to head back to WA and be around family and friends, but also really excited to be a part of such a great footy club,” Starcevich said.
“There's a bit of relief now, it's nice that it's all over and done with and I can sort of have a bit of time off and relax."
He revealed the factors that contributed to his decision to leave Brisbane, where he enjoyed enormous success, playing in two premiership sides.
“I played a bit of footy with Jake Waterman and Liam Baker back in the day, so it'd be good to catch up with those two and play together again.
“The Eagles have a lot of young talent, which is really exciting, and it's hard to pick out just a few but obviously Harley Reid, he's a superstar and I'm keen to play alongside of him.
“I've never had to play against him, which is probably a good thing for me.
“And down back, Reuben Ginbey is a real competitor, so I'm excited to line up alongside those guys down there as well.”
