Collingwood and GWS have completed the first trade of the 2022 AFL Trade Period with Bobby Hill finally finding his way to Victoria after missing out at the deadline in 2021.
Having made a play for the small forward last season, the Pies proved able to secure Hill's services after parting with a future second-round selection.
The Woods and Giants also traded third-round selections ahead of the 2022 AFL Draft, with Collingwood securing Pick 40 for the price of Pick 43.
Since joining the Giants with the 24th pick of the 2018 National Draft, Hill has amassed 41 starts in charcoal and orange, slotting 34 goals in the process.
Trade paperwork lodged.

The Western Australian's pain in missing out on a trade across the Murray last year played out in public view, with Hill's emotions captured by Stan cameras for the documentary series, 'Show Me The Money'.
Sadly, Hill's 2022 campaign was interrupted after being diagnosed with testicular cancer in May.
Hill has since received surgery, with the Perth Demons product making a return to GWS' Homebush base in August.
The Giants are now armed with Picks 3, 21, 43, 58, 60 and 76 ahead of November's draft.
Conversely, Collingwood will enter next month holding the 16th, 40th, 48th, 49th and 89th selections.
