Former Sydney Swan Indhi Kirk has ventured west after his AFL delisting, signing with WAFL club Perth for the coming two seasons.

Kirk, the son of Swans great Brett, spent two years on Sydney's list after being drafted as an over-age talent out of the club's Academy in 2023 as a rookie.

The 21-year-old played 34 VFL games over the past pair of seasons, adding to nine previous state league level games in the red and white prior to being drafted.

After being one of eight Swans delisted by the club, Kirk has landed in the WAFL, signing with the Perth Demons until the end of 2027.

"Indhi Kirk joins the Perth Demons from the Sydney Swans, where he spent the past 2 seasons on their AFL list," a club post read.

"While he didn't debut in the AFL, he played 43 VFL games for the Swans - winning their 2025 Best and Fairest.

"The hard-working midfielder will make a great addition to the Perth midfield group. Indhi has signed for 2026 and 2027 and we can't wait to see him in action."

The son-of-a-gun joins former AFL names in Brandan Parfitt, Conrad Williams, Blake Schlensog, Jesse Glass-McCasker and Charlie Constable at Perth, the latter coming off a Sandover Medal-winning year.

Kirk's move comes fresh off a finals finish for the Demons, with Perth finishing fifth on the ladder before bowing out in the second week of the post-season to Claremont.
