Ex-Richmond player Kaleb Smith has signed a two-year deal with the East Fremantle Sharks in the WAFL following his AFL exit.
Smith was taken with Pick 49 in 2022 and played 12 games before he was delisted at the end of this year.
He previously played for the Sharks before his time at the Tigers, and will return to the club.
"To have the opportunity to return to the place where it all began is something I'm incredibly grateful for. The Sharks played such a big part in my journey, putting me in the fortunate position to go over east and fulfil my dream of AFL for the past four years," he said in a statement.
"For me, it's going to mean a lot more than just putting the jersey back on. It's about reuniting with the club and community that helped shape not only the footballer, but the person I am today. This club holds so many great memories for me, the friendships, the staff, and the community is what makes this club so special. I'm excited to see what we can do in 2027 and the many years to come!

"Time to come home and run around Shark Park again in the blue and white!"
Smith will join former North Melbourne player Liam Anthony, who was announced as the club's senior coach last week.
Anthony played 58 games for the Kangaroos between 2009 and 2014 after he was plucked from the Sharks' Colts program.
After he was delisted from North Melbourne, Anthony returned to play for East Fremantle, where he became a vice-captain and best-and-fairest winner.
Anthony takes over the reins from Bill Monaghan, a central figure in the club's history who guided the Sharks to their 30th WAFL flag, breaking a 25-year drought in the process.
East Fremantle finished second-last in the 2026 WAFL season.
