DONE DEAL: Port swoop on Giants forward

Greater Western Sydney forward Jeremy Finlayson has been traded to Port Adelaide in exchange for the Power's future third-round selection.

Reports emerged last month that Finlayson was keen to move to South Australia to best support his young family, with his partner hailing from Port Lincoln.

The future third-round selection will add to the Giants' draft hand, with Greater Western Sydney currently holding picks 2, 13, 50, 68 for the 2021 National Draft.

DONE DEAL: Demons sign Saints outcast

St Kilda midfielder Luke Dunstan has exercised his free agency rights and joined Melbourne.

Dunstan will join the Demons as an unrestricted free agent after not being offered a new deal by the Saints for the 2022 season.

Compensation for the Saints is unknown and will depend on the details of Dunstan's contract with the Demons, which is believed to be a two-year deal.

Dogs set to sign Hawthorn high-flyer

The Western Bulldogs are set to sign high-flying utility Tim O'Brien from Hawthorn.

The news will lock in O'Brien as a key defender at Whitten Oval, and looms as a direct replacement for defender Lewis Young who recently requested a trade to Carlton earlier this week.

According to reports from Fox Footy's Tom Morris, O'Brien spoke with Dogs head coach Luke Beveridge over Zoom and the utility is set to sign with the club on a multi-year deal and will play as a key defender alongside Alex Keath in 2022.
