Promising Demons small forward Kade Chandler is reportedly in talks with the Adelaide Crows, with the two parties understood to have met last week.

The 21-year-old was selected by the Demons in the 2019 Rookie Draft with pick No.15, and made his debut late in the 2019 season.

Chandler has played just six senior matches in three seasons, but in four of those he was unused as the medical sub. His time at the Demons has also been hampered by a wrist injury in the 2020 pre-season.

Chandler is well versed in spending time in a successful squad, having resided in the Demons' hub in 2020 and 2021 and taking the field in Round 9 this year against Carlton.

Adelaide is arguably already in good supply of small forwards, and no deal has yet been confirmed, according to The Herald Sun.

The Demons aren't looking at a busy off-season, however are poised to land outcast Saint Luke Dunstan.

The Crows are continuing negotiations with Sydney in hoping to see eye-to-eye on a trade that will lure Jordan Dawson back to his home state of South Australia.
