Chris Scott and his selection committee lodged a bevy of changes on Thursday evening ahead of Geelong's final game of the season against the Dogs at GMHBA Stadium.
Eliminated from finals contention after taking home last year's premiership, the Cats ruled out Jeremy Cameron, Tom Hawkins, Tanner Bruhn, Brad Close, and Esava Ratugolea through injury, while Mitch Duncan (suspension) and Zach Tuohy (tactical substitute) were also excluded from this weekend's contest.
On the other side of the ledger, youngsters Mitch Knevitt, Oisin Mullin, Oliver Dempsey, Rhys Stanley, Sam Menegola, Conway, and Clohesy are Saturday's inclusions, with Clohesy likely to be named as the tactical substitute after not being named on Thursday night.
The Bulldogs, meanwhile, made three changes to the selected side that were defeated by the lowly Eagles at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, including Tom Liberatore, Hayden Crozier, and Toby McLean at the expense of Bailey Smith (illness), Jack Macrae (injured), Taylor Duryea (suspension), and Lachlan McNeil (tactical substitute).
The Cats battle the Bulldogs, who are still in contention for an unlikely finals seed, at 7:25 PM (AEST) on Saturday.
