Dual Norm Smith Medal winner Will Ashcroft has been rewarded with a contract extension at Brisbane, with the father-son gun now penned to the Lions until the end of 2030.
The Lions have added an extra four years onto Ashcroft's existing deal, which was set to expire at the end of next year.
The decision from Brisbane comes after Ashcroft helped lead the Queensland club to its second successive flag last month, with the third-year midfielder winning his second Norm Smith Medal in as many years.
For Ashcroft, who has followed in the footsteps of his father and three-time premiership Lion, Marcus, he said the decision was "really easy".
"I am obviously stoked to sign on and play at this great club, and I am super excited for what's to come in the future," Ashcroft said in a club statement.
"We have a club of great people, so it made my decision really easy."

The 21-year-old, who also claimed the 2025 Gary Ayres Award as the best finals player, has played 58 games at AFL level, winning 43 of those matches.
His maiden season was cut short due to an ACL injury, with Ashcroft returning the following year as the Lions went the distance.
He would play all 27 games for Brisbane in 2025, averaging 27.15 disposals, 3.52 tackles and 5.74 clearances per game in another premiership campaign.
Adding to his accolades are a Marcus Ashcroft Medal in Round 8 this year and the 2023 AFL Goal of the Year title.
Ashcroft was also named in the 22under22 sides in 2023 and 2025.
