Carlton co-captain Sam Docherty and club leader Ed Curnow have both inked new deals with the Blues.

Docherty, who is currently missing his second straight season with an ACL injury, has re-signed for with the Blues until at least the end of the 2021 season.

“I love this football club and am driven every day to make sure we achieve success together as a playing group,” Docherty said to carltonfc.com.au.

“I cannot wait to pull on the Navy Blue guernsey again, to get back out on the field with my teammates and play good footy for our great club.”

Curnow has signed on for the 2020 season after he was due to be out of contract come season’s end.

“Carlton has been great to me and my family, I’m rapt to sign on for another season,” Curnow said to carltonfc.com.au.

“This group has a heap of talent and I feel we aren’t far away from seeing it click. I am looking forward to more time at the Club and pushing myself and the group to get the best out of ourselves.”

Curnow has played 155 games since joining the Blues in 2011, while Docherty has played 79 games for the Blues since arriving from Brisbane at the end of 2013.
