Claremont 6.13 49 def. East Perth 3.7 25

Eagles livewire Liam Ryan failed to show why he should be playing in the senior team, having just six disposals in East Perth's loss.

Youngster Brayden Ainsworth impressed in the loss, collecting 25 disposals and having six tackles.

Peel Thunder 13.12 90 def. South Fremantle 9.12 66

Harley Bennell looked lively after having a small scare with an ankle injury, as he had 22 disposals and kicked a goal in the victory for Peel.

Ruckman Luke Strnadica may be a chance for his first AFL game, having 46 hit-outs and may be called upon to cover for Sean Darcy's injury.

Veteran Danyle Pearce continued his good form in the WAFL, having 27 disposals.
