Fremantle defender Heath Chapman has been the sole recipient of a charge from the match review officer after Friday night's thrilling Semi-Final against Geelong.
The Dockers defender edged Cats mid-sized forward Oliver Henry under the ball inside 50 in the third quarter of the match.
Henry flew for a mark, with the ball going over his head and out of reach, but Chapman laid his hands in the Cat's back which pushed him horizontal before he crashed to the floor.
MRO Michael Christian deemed the act to be rough contact and that it was careless conduct, low impact and body contact.
Chapman has been fined $2500 which can be downgraded to $1500 with an early plea.
Chapman was tasked with defending Henry, who beat the Dockers defender in a career-best performance.
Henry had career-highs in goals (five), disposals (20) and contested possessions (13).
The Dockers overcame their recent nerves in finals to defeat the Cats in a high-scoring contest which saw Fremantle win 120-106.
Fremantle will now play Sydney at the SCG next Friday in a Preliminary Final.
It will be the fourth time the Dockers have made it to the second last week of the season in their 32-year history.
Incredibly, it will be the third time the Dockers face the Swans for a spot in a Grand Final. They have a record of 1-3 in Preliminary Finals.
