Desperate Suns put No. 3 pick on trade block

Gold Coast has told rival teams the No. 3 pick in November’s National Draft is on the table in trade discussions, as it looks to lure an experienced player to the club.

Fox Sports’ Tom Morris believes the Suns are prioritising a key forward to partner Ben King.

The struggling Suns — 4-9 this season — believe they have secured enough talent through the draft and have begun pursuing players who can provide leadership and guidance for their young core.

‘Busy’ Dockers set sights on Victorian trio

The Dockers are believed to have a trio of Victorian-based talent in their sights ahead of this season’s exchange period.

As reported by Fox Sports’ Tom Morris, a cashed-up Fremantle unit are already keeping tabs on out-of-favour Geelong duo Jordan Clark and Quinton Narkle, as well as Blues utility Sam Petrevski-Seton.

The three named players have all found themselves on the outer of senior selection this season, with questions over their future being raised throughout 2021 so far.

Victorian clubs targeting Bulldogs youngster

Western Bulldogs youngster Patrick Lipinski is reportedly being eyed-off by a number of Victorian clubs.

Lipinski has found himself out of the senior side for most of 2021 due to the depth of the Bulldogs incredible midfield and injury issues. Now rival clubs are starting to believe they can offer him more regular senior football in order to get him through the door.

Patrick Cripps signs MONSTER new deal with Blues

Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps has inked a new six-year deal with the Blues that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027.

Cripps has inked a new deal with the club and will turn his back on free agency.

The gun midfielder has long been linked to a return to Western Australia, but has always expressed his desires to remain at Ikon Park past 2021.

Gun big man inks new deal with Dockers

Fremantle has secured Sean Darcy for the near future with the star ruckman signing on until at least 2024.

The two-year extension comes as the 23-year-old is putting together a career best season for the Dockers.

Jack Riewoldt to stay on at Tigerland for 2022

Star Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt has formally agreed to stay at the Tigers until the end of the 2022 season.

The 32-year old had been in the last year of his contract, but has managed to secure a new one-year deal after an impressive 2021 campaign kicking 34 goals from 13 games so far this season.

Riewoldt will enter his 16th season next year and confirmed the news on Fox Footy’s AFL 360 on Tuesday night.
