Adelaide utility player Zac Taylor will miss at least two weeks with a minor hamstring injury, scans confirmed.

Taylor injured his hamstring in Saturday night's win over GWS in the second quarter and did not return after being assessed off the ground after recording 6 disposals in the 56-point winning effort.

Crows General Manager of High Performance Ian McKeown provided an update on Taylor's rehabilitation status and other injuries within the club.

“It's disappointing news for Zac, but he's already hard at work on his recovery,” McKeown said.

“What's important now is seeing how his hamstring responds in the coming days; that will give us a better idea of a return timeline."

Crows key defender Jordon Butts is listed as a test for the elimination final.

Butts has been dealing with an achilles injury and is expected to return within the next two weeks.

“Buttsy is recovering well, but it's probably too early to comment on his availability for next weekend,” McKeown said.

Midfielder James Peatling will continue to be managed for hip and groin soreness through the extended break.

Peatling has missed his last two games dealing with this soreness and is coming off one of his best years in the league with a career-high 19.6 disposals per game.

“Pleasingly for us and JP, we've now got an extra week to manage his training loads,” McKeown said.

“We'll monitor his progress throughout the next 10 days or so before making a call on availability for the elimination final next weekend.”

Adelaide finished sixth with a 15-8 record and will await their first finals opponent following Wildcard Round.
