The AFL announced the three presenters for the 2026 Grand Final post-match presentations for the winners of the Norm Smith Medal (player judged best afield), Jock McHale Medal (premiership-winning coach), and Ron Barassi Medal (premiership-winning captain).
Geelong premiership player Paul Chapman will present the Norm Smith Medal. Chapman was regarded as one of the premier finals players of his time, especially after recording 26 disposals and three goals in his own Norm Smith Medal performance.
He is also a three-time premiership player for the Cats.
Playing 280 games for Essendon and Geelong over his 15-year career, Chapman had a storied career and made some of his biggest moments on Grand Final day.
Sydney premiership coach Paul Roos will pass on the Jock McHale medal to the winning coach.
Roos became one of the competition's most influential coaches after his 17-year career for Fitzroy and Sydney, where he played 356 games and earned eight All-Australian selections throughout.
He would put the coaching hat on and led Sydney to its breakthrough premiership in 2005, helping lay the foundations for the resurgence of Melbourne and their eventual Grand Final in 2021.
The Ron Barassi Medal will be in its third instalment, following its introduction in 2024 in honour of the football icon.
Richmond Hall of Famer and Team of the Century member Roger Dean will hand over the Ron Barassi Medal to the winning captain.
Dean won three premierships with Richmond, including his third in 1969, when he served as captain in the winning effort.
Playing 245 games with Richmond, Dean left a legacy of success behind at the club that saw him become a life member at the club after his departure.
Hawthorn four-time premiership player and two-time Norm Smith medallist (2008 and 2014), Luke Hodge was also announced as the premiership cup ambassador for 2026.
Hodge featured in five grand finals throughout his career, including two Norm-Smith performances and was the captain of Hawthorn during their three-peat from 2013-2015.
