Collingwood defender Billy Frampton has been offered a three week suspension for his tackle on Brody Mihocek.
The rough conduct was graded as careless conduct with severe impact and high contact.
The incident left Mihocek with a fracture in his neck, but there has been widespread conjecture about whether Frampton breached his duty of care given the Melbourne forward led with his head during the incident.
Frampton, a premiership teammate of Mihocek's in 2023, was visibly shook by the incident where Mihocek was left in a vulnerable position before being stretchered off the ground.
Collingwood is likely to challenge the ban given conjecture about whether Frampton could have done much more to execute the tackle safely, but the league has cracked down on any contact to the head.
Meanwhile, Kozzy Pickett can breathe a sigh of relief, offered a $3000 fine, $2000 with an early plea, for tripping Brayden Maynard.
The trip left Maynard with a dislocated shoulder and ruled him out of the contest, but he had already dislocated it earlier in the game, helping the Demon's cause.
Midfielder Ed Allan can accept a $1000 fine with an early plea for careless contact with an umpire.
