Despite the AFL's league-wide warning about resting mass players ahead of finals, it seems clubs will be willing to risk potential fines to best prepare their squads for a premiership tilt.
With the top 10 locked in with a round remaining, every finals-qualified side will be weighing up the pros and cons of who to play for Round 24, and who to give an extra week's break.
Do minor premiers Fremantle risk messing with its form by resting key players for the Dockers' trip to Melbourne?
How does Collingwood balance bringing back some injured guns, while managing the workload of its stars?
Should Carlton sit back and rest its key players for Wildcard Round, or do the Blues need to win so they can stay in Melbourne?
These are the decisions the finals-bound coaches must make ahead of an intriguing Round 24.
Adelaide

A top four finish is not out of the question for the Crows, so Matthew Nicks won't likely want to rest any of his stars as Adelaide sits in seventh spot, just outside the safety of the top six.
Adelaide hosts GWS for the final round of the home-and-away season, and will need to win to keep any hope of making it to the top six or top four alive.
Above them sits Geelong, who play Richmond; Brisbane, who play Collingwood; Hawthorn, who play the West Coast; and Melbourne, who play the Western Bulldogs.
All four would be expected to get the job done, meaning the Crows' fate is likely out of their hands.
If Adelaide was to rest some of its players ahead of a the Wildcard Round, the likes of Izak Rankine, Jordan Dawson and Riley Thilthorpe will be the club's match winners in finals.
However, Rankine is in the form of his life, and you wouldn't want to mess with his current mentality. It could be wise to give Crows skipper Dawson a rest before the Wildcard after his taxing year,r physically but more emotionally.
