Draft bolters don't get much bigger than Eastern Ranges forward-midfield hybrid Sullivan Robey, who started the year at the local level with Rowville.
Robey had pushed for opportunities with both Dandenong and the Ranges in recent years, training with the latter over the pre-season before being denied a list spot.
Tantalising form in the Eastern Football League put Robey back on the map at the Ranges, with a Coates Tales League debut coming in June after he kicked eight goals in five senior games for Rowville.
Robey didn't look back after getting his maiden showing with the Ranges, kicking goals in eight of his nine appearances, including a season-best four majors in a grand final win over the Sandringham Dragons.
That finals series included a 40-disposal and three-goal outing in a Wildcard Round win over the Western Jets, with Robey making a statement as a finals performer.
His power, burst, X-factor and ability to influence a game have quickly seen him rise into top five conversations, with West Coast, who possess the first two picks of the draft, a potential landing spot.
Both Richmond and Essendon will also be in consideration, with clubs queuing up for the gun livewire.
The start to Robey's AFL career likely sees him placed in the front half of the field, with midfield minutes increasing across the course of his tenure.
His size and strength have him viewed as a prospect ready for Round 1, with the potential that Robey can reach once he steps into a professional training environment, potentially sky-high.
