Adelaide forward Elliott Himmelberg has penned a new two-year extension with the club after a stellar run of form, per afc.com.au.

Himmelberg, 22, has been a key player for the Crows since returning to the side in round eight, playing a major role in the club's back-to-back wins.

Adelaide General Manager for List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said Himmelberg's rise in 2020 has greatly benefited the club.

“Elliott has showed some really good signs as an emerging key position player and back-up ruckman this year, grabbing his opportunity with both hands,” Reid said.

“With Tyson Stengle also signing on recently, we’ve now secured two young players who we see as really important parts of our forward line going into the future.”

Himmelberg debuted for the Crows in 2018 and has booted 16 goals in 17 matches with the club.
