Just because you've won a wooden spoon in your career, it doesn't mean you're a bad player.

Sometimes great players are just stuck on a poor team, or maybe a group of up and coming stars are too young that season, and haven't grown into themselves just yet.

That's the case for most of these current AFL stars, who at one point in their careers were with a side that finished at the bottom of the ladder.

Naturally, the Giants dominate this list, with eight players from their side that won just two games and finished last in their inaugural season in 2012.

West Coast also have some representatives from their 2010 wooden spoon winning season, while Carlton's poor 2015 campaign also saw four players make this 22.
