With the increase of quality left-footers in the AFL, it’s always exciting to look at the best of them and figure out which 22 would make an ALL-Australian squad full of left-footers.
Selecting which star lefties make it over the others proved to be difficult but we got there in the end.
Let us know how you feel about the side we put together and what changes you’d make to it.
The last line of defence needs to be a strong one. We have a 300 gamer and our vice captain, we have a former All-Australian in Dane Rampe and a solid piece in last year’s premiership side.
Speed as well as power is vital on the half back and we’ve got it all with Saad and Phillips providing some run and carry as May takes care of the big bodies.
With so many star left-foot midfielders it was easy to put together a star studded centre line. Three superstars who are always in All-Australian contention.
A dominant half forward line with undeniable raw talent from all three players. All with speed, quickness and agility that would be a nightmare for any defence they go up against.
A lot of size and power inside the forward 50. All dominant one-on-one players and will give defenders trouble in the air or on the ground.
Goldstein is one of the most dominant ruckmen when the ball is in the air along with Mitchell and Macrae who gather any ball in a five-metre radius. It’d be a hard day at the office if you had to stop this midfield.
Four solid players who would be dangerous anywhere on the field. All deadly left footers who can provide a boost to any team they’re on.
