The Eagles have announced the delisting of premiership forward Daniel Venables.

West Coast have stated they will look to explore options that could facilitate a return to football for the 22-year-old.

Venables has battled concussion and brain trauma since a head knock in May last year, which has sidelined him since.

West Coast list manager Darren Glass said the club will continue to support Venables.

โ€œWe remain committed to helping Dan strive to play senior football at our club again,โ€ Glass said.

โ€œBut, as it has been since the incident, our primary focus remains Danโ€™s health and wellbeing.

โ€œWe will continue to explore with the AFL the options available to us to facilitate Danโ€™s return to senior football with us as soon as he is medically cleared to do so.โ€
