Speaking on Triple M's Sunday rub, former North Melbourne champion, Wayne Carey, has listed his top 10 midfielders in the competition at the moment.
Unsurprisingly, Carey believes Geelong star Patrick Dangerfield is the game's best onballer, closely followed by teammate and Cats' skipper, Joel Selwood.
But Carey left Fremantle skipper, Nat Fyfe out of his top 10, declaring he is not one of the premier midfielders in the game at the moment.
"I was sitting down a couple of days ago, and I was thinking about Fyfe and where does Fyfe sit," Carey said.
"Is he right now in the top 10 onballers in the competition?
"He's not. He's not in the top 10, believe it or not."
Despite some impressive form since being heavily criticised after round two, Gary Ablett was also left off the list, as was Hawthorn recruit Tom Mitchell, who is averaging an incredible 35 disposals so far this season.
