The VFL has named a 23-man squad for Saturday's representative game against the SANFL in Glebelg, with 2023 grand finalists Werribee leading the way with seven selections

Tiger Dom Brew will captain the side and will be accompanied by familiar teammates in Kye Declase, Jack Henderson, Louis Pinnuck, Nick Hayes, Hudson Garoni and Nathan Cooper.

Southport narrowly trail with five selections, while a further five players who were on an AFL list last year have also been named for the match.

Shark Jacob Dawson and Box Hill midfielder Callum Brown have been named as vice-captains, while Hawks skipper Callum Porter has been named as an emergency for this weekend's clash.

The SANFL named a 25-man squad earlier this week, with the Croweater also set to feature a strong presence of ex-AFL talent.

Box Hill's Zane Littlejohn will coach the Big V, while South Australis will be led by Norwood boss Jade Rawlings.

The game between Victoria and South Australia will take place at Glenelg Oval at 12:40pm local time on Saturday.
