Reigning Jack Dyer medallist Tim Taranto is the third Richmond Tiger to be ruled out of the side's clash with the North Melbourne Kangaroos, after suffering a concussion in the third term.
The head knock rules him out of next week's ANZAC Eve clash with the Demons, too, worsening the Tigers injury crisis.
Utility Sam Banks looks a certainty to miss the weeks that follow Sunday's match, too, after leaving the match after a conventional tackle.
The rebounding young defender, who also enjoys stints on the wing, left the field in visible pain, and favouring his right arm, with a suspected collarbone injury.
After being pursued by North star Luke Davies-Uniacke, Banks hit the Marvel Stadium deck hard, and appeared to have sustained structural damage to his right shoulder and collarbone region, in the process.

It's more injuries Adem Yze's men can ill-afford, after a winless start to his third season helming the Punt Road natives.
A host of veterans and youngsters alike populate Richmond's casualty ward at present, with key position pillars Tom Lynch and Toby Nankervis joined by highly touted youngsters Josh Smillie, Taj Hotton, Harry Armstrong, and more.

The injuries mar further a dirty weekend for the Tigers, who lost Luke Trainor and Zane Peucker to injury in the VFL side's clash with the AFL Academy on Saturday.
