Richmond have been boosted on the eve of finals with both Mabior Chol and Ivan Soldo finalising two-year contract extensions.

Soldo has played 11 games this season, adding to his tally of nine since his debut in 2017. The former basketballer was recruited in 2014 as a Category B Rookie before playing in the VFL and TAC Cup.

The 23-year old is averaging 27 hitouts, 10 disposals, three clearances and four tackles this season.

Chol has played up forward this year averaging a goal a game and sharing ruck duties with Soldo. He made nine appearances in a row leading up to the last game of the home and away season after making his debut in 2018.

Richmond's List Manager Blair Hartley told the club website: "We're really pleased with both Ivan and Mabior's development so far, they've worked really hard with their coaches and teammates to continue to improve."

"They're both great competitors, and important contributors to our team, and we look forward to watching them develop further in the next couple of years."
