Now that footy is over for the season, the focus turns to the circus that is trade period.

With clubs looking to make deals in quite possibly the most important trade period in recent memory, here are the 10 most interesting out-of-contract players.

9. Matthew Kennedy

Kennedy had a run as a inside-midfielder for the Blues in 2020, and looked especially good around the contest.

The club haven't offered him a new deal yet, and the 23-year-old could slot into multiple sides as a handy mid.

The Saints in particular could do with a big midfielder, whilst ESPN's Chris Doerre believes that Sydney could be a perfect fit for him to eventually succeed the other Kennedy, Josh.

With Carlton picking up Giant Zac Williams, it could be a sign for Kennedy to explore other options.
