Backs

Back Pocket - Zach Tuohy (Geelong)

Tuohy has been somewhat of an unsung hero at the Cattery in 2017 and did a fine job of limiting Eddie Betts' impact on Thursday night.

Betts managed just one goal from 12 disposals, while Tuohy picked up 27 possessions and eight marks for his night's work.

Full Back - David Astbury (Richmond)

While it's usually Alex Rance that receives the headlines in the Richmond backline, Astbury's work hasn't gone unnoticed.

Lining up on Jarrad Waite, he kept the mobile big man to just one goal and three marks while gathering 20 disposals of his own at 95 per cent efficiency.

Back Pocket - Jeremy Howe (Collingwood)

If an All-Australian side was picked today, this man's name would not be far from the 22.

Howe continued his consistent 2017 with 20 touches (seven intercept) at an impressive 90 per cent efficiency while pulling in eight marks (three contested), registering three inside 50s and kicking a goal.

He'll continue to be a key cog if the Pies are to push for finals football.

Half Back - Hamish Hartlett (Port Adelaide)

Hartlett put the sorry Hawks to the sword on Friday night with 24 touches at a crazy 96 per cent efficiency, eight marks and four inside 50s and was a big reason why the Hawks were held to their lowest ever half time score with nine intercept possessions.

Centre Half Back - Michael Hurley (Essendon)

It was a battle between two of the games heavyweight key position players as Hurley went head to head with Jeremy Cameron.

It was the Bomber who came out on top, keeping the Giant to just one major while thwarting nine of GWS' moves forward from his 21 touches and nine marks.

Half Back - Zac Williams (Greater Western Sydney)

Though most of his game was played in midfield and up forward, positions aren't as important in this particular team.

Williams rounded out an impressive opening half of the season with 25 touches (12 contested), seven tackles, six marks, four clearances and three goals in an impressive overall performance.

Midfield

Wing - Adam Treloar (Collingwood)

Another Pie who goes from strength to strength, Treloar tallied 13 score involvements, seven inside 50s, six tackles, five clearances and a goal from his 35 touches with a perfect 10 coaches votes to sum up his Sunday afternoon.

Centre - Josh Kelly (Greater Western Sydney)

If you were watching this game and blinked at any stage, you probably missed one of Kelly's 38 possessions for the day.

The kid was all over Spotless Stadium on Saturday with 10 inside 50s, 10 tackles, seven clearances and a goal capping off a career-best performance from the young gun.

Wing - Taylor Adams (Collingwood)

Adams' inside and outside work was a feature of his performance as the Pies took down the Dockers at Domain Stadium on Sunday.

His 11 tackles and nine clearances complimented his 28 touches nicely in the win.

Forwards

Half Forward - Dustin Martin (Richmond)

We're running out of words to describe one of the Brownlow favourites in 2017.

Week after week, he produces best on ground performances, as his nine clearances, nine inside 50s, eight marks, six tackles, 10 score involvements and two goals stood out at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

Centre Half Forward - Charlie Dixon (Port Adelaide)

Dixon put his demons from the week prior behind him as he booted four goals in Port's comfortable win.

Two first-quarter goals set the tone for Dixon's performance, with five of his eight marks being contested - one of many highlights for the night.

Half Forward - Jarryd Lyons (Gold Coast)

The former Crow put in his best game for his new club on the weekend in a fantastic, well-rounded performance.

The 24-year-old had 29 touches (14 contested), eight clearances, eight tackles, seven marks and a goal in the Suns' upset win.

Forward Pocket - Jamie Elliott (Collingwood)

Thankfully for Pies fans, the livewire put a better performance than his hairdresser on the weekend.

His presence inside 50 was noticed from the get-go, as his three goals came from seven marks, six tackles and 12 touches of the Sherrin.

Unfortunately for Elliott, he suffered a re-occurrence of an ankle injury that had previously sidelined him in 2017.

Full Forward - Tom Lynch (Gold Coast)

Lynch didn't get the service he desires on the weekend but he definitely made the most of his opportunities.

The Suns' co-captain kicked three goals from his 16 touches while plucking eight marks in a morale-boosting win for the club.

Forward Pocket - Toby Greene (Greater Western Sydney)

Love him or hate him, Toby Greene is a special player.

In the air or at ground level, Greene showed off all of his skills on the weekend with 20 touches, six marks (three contested) and three goals as the Giants edged out the Bombers.

Followers

Ruck - Tom Bellchambers (Essendon)

Producing his best game in 2017, Bellchambers beat Shane Mumford both in the ruck duel and around the ground, showing his versatility by going forward and kicking two goals.

He also pulled down five marks and produced three clearances as the Bombers fought out a tough loss.

Apologies to Brodie Grundy, who narrowly missed out on yet another TOTW birth.

Ruck Rover & Rover - Joel Selwood (Geelong) & Patrick Dangerfield (Geelong)

Can we just put these two in as a package from now on?

The Cats answered a potentially dangerous three weeks with three strong and telling wins on the back of three exceptional 'Dangerwood' performances.

Even after splitting his head open early in the contest, it was Selwood who claimed best-on-ground honours with 35 touches (89% efficiency), nine clearances, four tackles and a goal however his best mate wasn't too far behind, with 31 touches of his own, seven clearances, seven tackles and three goals as he influenced the contest when it mattered most.

Appreciate this champion duo playing together in the prime of their careers.

Interchange

Brad Ebert (Port Adelaide)

Ebert was all class in Port's demolition of Hawthorn, racking up 34 touches, 12 tackles, seven clearances and six score involvements in his 200th game.

Elliot Yeo (West Coast)

A shining light for the Eagles when many of their stars disappeared, Yeo has been Adam Simpson's best player so far in 2017.

While his 22 disposals don't jump out off the page, he was clinical and decisive with his ball use, while his six inside 50s and three goals put the Eagles in a position for the four points.

Gary Ablett (Gold Coast)

The little master is in a little bit of a purple patch, reminding everyone just how good he really is.

Ablett gathered 36 touches at over 83 per cent efficiency on Saturday that combined to amass nine score involvements, eight inside 50s, six clearances and five marks in a strong win for his side.

Pearce Hanley (Gold Coast)

Hanley was as influential as any Sun in their win over the Eagles, tallying 600m gained from his 31 touches to go along with 12 marks and six inside 50s.
