Gold Coast have bid farewell to Caleb Graham, Cooper Bell and Asher Eastham, who have not been offered contracts for the 2027 AFL season.
Graham played 37 games for the Suns between 2019-2022 as a homegrown talent through the Gold Coast Suns Academy.
“Caleb is a success story of our StreetSmarts Suns Academy's North Queensland pathway." Suns list and recruitment manager Kall Burns noted in a club statement.
"He's been both an influential and popular member of our club for many years, firstly in our Academy programs in Cairns before spending eight seasons on our AFL list."
Bell and Eastham had good form in their VFL campaigns this season, but neither player made a debut after being drafted during the 2024 National Draft & 2025 Rookie Draft respectively.
“We'd like to thank Caleb, Cooper and Asher for their contributions to our club and wish them all the best in what's next," Burns added.
The trio of departures come after the club confirmed earlier this week that free agent Ben King will exercise his rights on the open market. Gold Coast has also bid farewell to veteran Nick Holman, who announced his retirement last week.
The Suns recently secured the re-signing of midfielder Touk Miller to a new four-year deal, adding to the retentions of Oscar Adams (2028), Sam Clohesy (2028), Koby Coulson (2028), Jy Farrar (2027), Lachlan Gulbin (2027), Bailey Humphrey (2030), Max Knobel (2027), Caleb Lewis (2028), Leo Lombard (2030), Ben Long (2029), Avery Thomas (2028), Bodhi Uwland (2030), Jed Walter (2029), Lachie Weller (2029) and Jarrod Witts (2028) in 2026.
The likes of Alex Davies, Zak Evans, Ben Jepson, Jake Rogers and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan remain off contract at Carrara.
