Isaac Heeney, Nick Blakey, Chad Warner, Riley Bice and James Jordon are this week expected to return to Sydney's Moore Park headquarters for the first time since the week of the Pullman Hotel saga.
AFL Media is reporting that the club is working through how the return of the quintet may look, and whether formalised exit meetings with some of its biggest names are required.
The possibility remains that the players will address the playing group before the summer break begins, after their season ended at Fremantle's hand on preliminary final weekend.
The futures of the quintet have drawn intense scrutiny in recent weeks.
Speculation persists that dashing half-back Nick Blakey remains gettable, while Chad Warner recently communicated his desire to see out the final year of his contract, in 2027. After next season, the game-breaking midfielder will become a free agent.
Isaac Heeney is contracted until the conclusion of the 2028 season.
"We note that no charges have been laid and that police have indicated the process may take some time to run its course," the club said on September 2nd.
"As it remains a police investigation, it is not appropriate to comment further.
"The club again extends its sincere apologies to our members and fans, sponsors and the wider community, along with all of our staff and players across both the women's and men's programs, for the distress and disappointment this matter has caused."
