Sydney gun Chad Warner says  has"never felt more settled" in New South Wales, indicating his desire to stay long-term.

Warner denied interest from his home state, West Coast and Fremantle, to sign a two-year extension last April, locking him away until the end of 2027, his free agency year.

There hasn't been much chatter from the west of pursuing the 25-year-old once again, which could lay to his intention to stick with the Swans beyond his current deal.

"Having the boys that I've created relationships with for ages is probably the No.1 thing, and it's only getting stronger with them, to be honest," he said.

"I absolutely love coming in every day, and I love the morale that we have. Having a good result each week and winning definitely helps a lot. To be honest, I've never felt more settled here."

The Swans are flying once again which is no doubt solidifying Warner's position of loving his time in the Harbour City.

The Dockers' interest, albeit it existed, was never deemed as strong as West Coast's given the strength of the Fremantle midfield, and the acquisition of Shai Bolton and Luke Jackson in recent years.

That left the Eagles on deck, and a potential reunion with former Sydney staffer and West Coast CEO Don Pyke.

Warner, when weighing up his future last year, met Pyke and former teammate Kieren Jack on the golf course in WA, drawing intrigue around the competition. He'd also purchased a house in his home state.

Swans chairman Andrew Pridham confirmed the club hasn't put a deal to Warner, but reiterated the star's comments of being settled.

Who knows?" Pridham responded to the challenge of keeping Warner on SEN two months ago.

"Chad's got another two years on his contract. I know he's very settled in Sydney. He loves it. He's very invested in the financial markets, he bothers me for advice.

"No (we haven't put an extended deal to him). I think, (his contract) has two years to go, so there's a fair way to go there."
