Premiership Lion Ty Gallop has been referred directly to the Tribunal for his actions against Port Adelaide's Mitch Georgiades on Sunday.
Match Review Officer Michael Christian deemed Gallop's behaviour as serious misconduct, with the 20-year-old Sunshine Coast junior looking at a ban of three weeks or more, precedents would suggest.
In a moment to forget for the defender, Gallop executed a dangerous tackle - one that would likely have drawn MRO scrutiny anyway, given Georgiades' arms were pinned and his head hit the turf - and shoved the Power forward in the back while he was still on the ground in the aftermath.

Gallop has been reborn as a defender under Chris Fagan's watchful eye this season, after spending his entire junior career and early days in the seniors as a habitual key forward.
His presence will be missed. The 194cm prospect has shown an aptitude for reading the play and boasts obvious competitiveness and aerial prowess. These traits saw him awarded the Round 16 Rising Star nomination, becoming just the third player in the award's history to win a premiership before being nominated for the gong.
Gallop registered 14 disposals, five marks, six tackles and six intercept possessions from 95 per cent game time in the Lions big win over contenders Sydney to earn the panel's nomination.
The Lions face Carlton, Hawthorn, cross-town rivals the Gold Coast and modern rivals Collingwood in their run home.
