Sydney has confirmed five stars will not be considered for selection for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season, including the finals.
Those Swans players are Riley Bice, Nick Blakey, Isaac Heeney, James Jordon and Chad Warner.
There's an ongoing Victoria Police investigation following the report of an alleged sexual assault.
"The AFL is supportive of the Club's sanctions," the statement said.
"We respect there is an ongoing investigation by Victoria Police, and the actions we have taken today are independent of this."
Sydney Swans Chairman Andrew Pridham and CEO Matthew Pavlich will be available to the media at 12pm today, at Sydney Swans HQ.
