Defenders

Buy

Thomas Cole (West Coast)

Cole has only played three games so far this year but has scored 98, 67 and 88. His price has already risen but if youโ€™re in need of a cheap defender, he could be the man.

James Sicily (Hawthorn)

Sicily has been superb this year and he is consistently posting big scores. His price is still under 500k but your main risk is his troubles with the MRP.

Sell

Jayden Hunt (Melbourne)

Hunt has been bitterly disappointing this season for Supercoach players and has lost almost 100k in value. If youโ€™ve stuck with him for this long, get rid of him.

Hold

Zach Tuohy (Geelong)

The Irishman has posted a couple of poor scores and he is dropping in price but he is starting to put some nice scores on the board again and isnโ€™t worth using a trade on just yet.

Midfielders

Buy

Jack Higgins (Richmond)

People were cautious with Higgins because they were unsure whether he was going to hold a spot in the Richmond line-up. He has put on some nice scores and is a dual position player and could be a good swap for a Holman or Banfield.

Richard Douglas (Adelaide)

Douglasโ€™ price sits at just 463k which is way unders considering his last two scores of 124 and 132. He is in less than one percent of teams and if he keeps this form up he is a great point of difference.

Tom Phillips (Collingwood)

Phillips, much like Douglas, sits under 500k yet his three round average is at 108.4 and he is in less than one percent of teams. A nice inclusion if youโ€™re looking for someone cheap for the midfield.

Sell

Taylor Adams (Collingwood)

It wasnโ€™t that long ago that Adams was a Supercoach must have but this year he is a Supercoach must avoid. His average is 68.5 and he has been in and out with injury. Get rid of him.

Luke Shuey (West Coast)

Shuey hasnโ€™t lit the supercoach world on fire this year and his price is dropping. Heโ€™s now suffering from injury and isnโ€™t worth sticking with.

Hold

Dustin Martin (Richmond)

Dusty hasnโ€™t posted a score above 100 for three weeks and considering his price, that hurts. Heโ€™s still Dusty though and the drop in form wonโ€™t last forever. Stick with him for a while.

Rucks

Buy

Callum Sinclair (Sydney)

Sinclair has been flying under the radar this year with an average of 108. If you donโ€™t want to hold on to Naitanui while heโ€™s out this week, Sinclair could be an option if you donโ€™t have the money for Gawn.

Sell

Matthew Kreuzer (Carlton)

Kreuzer started the year well but has been battling injuries since. He is still in 2% of teams but only has an average of 71 and heโ€™s dropped in price dramatically. Trade while you can still get someone decent.

Hold

Nic Naitanui (West Coast)

Nic Nat is only out for one week and most of us donโ€™t have a playing ruckman on the bench. Take the donut for this week and donโ€™t waste the trade unless youโ€™re making a good upgrade.

Forwards

Buy

Charlie Spargo (Melbourne)

After two games, Spargo has an average of 79.5 and this is the last week you can get him before his price goes up. Given his good scores, that increase is likely to be significant so get him now.

Toby McLean (Bulldogs)

One of the biggest Supercoach surprise packages this year, Toby McLean has been incredible. He is averaging 110.6 and is very much filling the hole left by Buddy, Michael Walters and Toby Greene. If you have the cash to splash or youโ€™re tired of waiting to see when the big guns are returning, buy McLean!

Sell

Jack Billings (St Kilda)

Jack Billingsโ€™ Supercoach form has followed a similar path to his actual team. He started well and has slowly faded away. His price has gotten so low its almost impossible to find a decent straight trade for him. Get him out of your side now before the price gets any lower.

Christian Petracca (Melbourne)

Petracca has been similar to Billings. He started well and then has faded away and so has his price. If you have to choose between him and Billings I would stick with the Demon but if youโ€™ve got the trades there, best to just move him on.

Hold

David Mundy (Fremantle)

Mundy has had a good season bar the last couple of games. His score of 53 against the Tigers was poor but so was the rest of the team that day (unless your name is Nat Fyfe). Mundy is worth sticking with for a while, one bad game isnโ€™t worth giving up a trade and thereโ€™s not much else on offer in terms of forwards at the moment.
