Adelaide has "asked the question" of Western Bulldogs youngster Ryley Sanders, and whether he'd be interested in crossing state lines into South Australia.
The Crows have been on the front foot in attempting to bolster their midfield stocks after a poor finals showing, bowing out in straight sets.
The West Lakes club had been linked heavily to Christian Petracca, but he ultimately saw his future at Gold Coast, while Zach Merrett was seen as a target, although he appears to be on his way to Hawthorn.

The Western Bulldogs midfielder has a year to run on his deal at the Dogs but has become a possible target for the Crows. @AFLcomau @TradeRadio

Sanders, who has another year on his contract, broke through as a consistent feature under Luke Beveridge in 2025, playing 21 games after 14 in his maiden campaign.
The former Pick 6 hails from Tasmania and is deemed a potential prospect for the state's new team ahead of its introduction in 2028.
But that hasn't stopped Adelaide in its reported pursuit.
The Crows would like to improve their mix of Jordan Dawson, James Peatling, Izak Rankine, Rory Laird and Sam Berry.
Sanders would allow Dawson and Rankine more freedom to play deeper inside 50.
