Four-time premiership Hawk Jordan Lewis has ranked his top five teammates from his 12-year career at the club on SEN.com.

Coming out on top of Lewis' list was Lance 'Buddy' Franklin, which shouldn't be much of a surprise given the talent and extraordinary things Franklin can do on the football field.

Buddy has played 300 games in his career (182 with the Hawks before moving to the Swans in 2014) and has kicked 944 goals over that span.

“He is the best player I ever played with.” Lewis told SEN.

Coming in at number two on Lewis' list shouldn't be much of a surprise either - former captain of the club and also four time premiership player Luke Hodge. The champion Hawk played 305 games for the club and will go down as one of the legends of the club.

“Hard to argue.”

Coming in at number three for Lewis was the 2015 Norm Smith Medalist and four-time premiership player Cyril Rioli, who's talent and ability was second to none.

“We were blessed to be able to train with him and see it on a regular basis.

“Some of the stuff that he did, I don’t think I’ll ever see in a game again.”

Rounding out Lewis' five was Brownlow medalists Sam Mitchell and Shane Crawford, who Lewis believing the latter helped propel the Hawks into the powerhouse they became.

One name who was left off was Jarryd Roughead, who Lewis apologised to. It's a tough gig when you've played with so many great players over your time!
