Joe Daniher will remain at Essendon with talks stalling between the Bombers and Swans, according to Tim Watson on 7News.
The two clubs couldn't agree on a deal, with the Bombers asking the Swans for a player, while Sydney is still reluctant to even offer Essendon picks 5 and 9.
Daniher is contracted for the 2020 season, meaning he'll remain a Bomber.
The deal puts the Tom Papley move to Carlton in serious doubt, as the Swans wanted to lock Daniher in first before letting Papley go.
